The hidden influence of social networks

Posted by Adrian Ciubotaru on 11.5.2010

Citate:

Maybe there is a king of below the surface quite riot that animates us all the time.

Maybe emotions have a collective existence, not just an individual existence.

Unhappy people seem to be located at the edges of a social network.

Social networks can be imagined as a vast social fabric of humanity.

Whether your friend know each other has not just to do with their genes, but with yours.

Networks have value. They are a kind of social capital. New proprieties emerged because of our embeddedness of social networks.

We form social networks because the benefits of a connected life outway the costs.

If we realize how valuable social networks are, we’d spend a lot more time nourishing them and sustaining them.

The world needs now more connections.
